Lake Placid Caladium Festival

Registration opens at 7:00 AM, awards at 2:00 PM. As part of the Caladium Festival, the car show is held in DeVane Park (off US 27), and features dash plaques to the first 150 registered, Top Three awards in many classes, live entertainment, food and beverage available, 50/50 drawing, and much more. Pre-registration by August 12th is $15, day of show is $20.

OCSO 9/11 Memorial Car Show

Hosted by the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and held at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603 West Colonial Drive, this show features T-shirts to the first 100 registered, dash plaques to the first 300 registered, independent judging, oldies and classic rock and roll, food and merchandise vendors, an auction, and much more. All vehicles will be parked outside. This event benefits the Central Florida Law Enforcement & Firefighter Memorial Funds, and the Children’s Safety Village of Central Florida. Car Show and Concert In The Park

Registration begins at 8:00 AM. Hosted by the Cruisin' Couples Classic Car Club and Eustis Facilities and Recreation, and held in Ferran Park (Ferran Park Road and Orange Avenue), this show offers dozens of judging classes including specialty awards with 90 trophies presented, Dunning Shaw with Jennifer Dobson in concert at 1:00 PM, several restaurants within walking distance, craft, parts, and food vendors, 50/50 drawing, and much more. The host hotel is the GuestHouse Inn (352) 787-1210. Friday evening reception and cruise in at the hotel from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Pre-registration fee by September 27th is $15, day of show is $20. Hosted by National Parts Depot, and held at Silver Springs Theme Park, this GM show is FREE to the first 1000 pre-registered by September 27th, and includes admission to the park for two, Peoples Choice judging, vendors, food and beverage available, and much more. Fall Auto and Boat Show

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Hosted by Champion Events, and held in Baldwin Park, this show features a T-shirt and goody bag to all registered vehicles, Top Three awards in each class, Halloween costume contest, food and beverage available, vendors, pet parade, and much more. Roger's Cruz'In Corvette Show

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Hosted by Roger's Corvette Center and the Central Florida Corvette Association, and held at 8675 North Orlando Avenue, this Corvette-only show benefits the Russell Home for Atypical Children, and features an event T-shirt for the first 100, multiple classes and awards including the 'Most Awesome Corvette on the Planet'. Hosted by the Florida Mopar Association, and held at the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing (I-75 Exit 341), this event offers awards in many classes plus specialties, food vendors, swap meet area, T-shirts, and some of the hottest Mopars, AMC's and Dodge trucks around. Spectators are free and parking is $2. Show pre-registration fee is $35, day of show is $40. Pasco Bug Jam

Held at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 SR 52, this VW show features more than 45 judging classes, dealer displays, new and used parts for sale, auction, entertainment, food and beverage available, games and contests, and more. Hosted by Don Mustain Productions, and held at the FHP Fairgrounds, 11700 SW 16th Avenue, this show is held in conjunction with the Cars and Guitars Tour benefitting non-profit agencies. There's cash prizes, a concert, fireworks, arts and crafts, food and beverage available, and more. Registration fee is $100, and includes admission for four to the concert.
