Ft. Walton Beach FF Benefit Car Show

9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Rescheduled from April 5th. Hosted by the Ft. Walton Beach Professional Firefighters, and held at Uptown Station, 99 Eglin Parkway, this show benefits the Firefighter's Burn Out Fund, and features awards in several classes, and much more. DadFest Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Hosted by and held at Canopy Roads Church, 925 Bannerman Road, this FREE event features door prizes including a new recliner, live music, soft drinks, bottled water, sno-cones, boiled peanuts, and popcorn (additional food and beverage available). The kids can watch a movie inside, or get wet on our playground outside. Also an hourly 'internal combustion engine salute to dads', and the 'Parade of Power' where each show participant will drive one at time to show center and our MC will tell the audience about you and/or your ride. Ernie Sims Foundation Show

8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Hosted by the Ernie Sims Foundation to benefit The Way Ministries, and held at the Tallahassee Antique Car Museum, 6800 Mahan Drive, this show will feature a "Main Street" atmosphere, with all types of vendors (including lots of food and beverage), booths and displays. Big Daddy Super Cruise II

Hosted by Mestengo F/X, this cruise to the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala begins with a 7:00 AM departure from the Wal-Mart, 3535 Apalachee Parkway. Registration is $15 per person, and includes admission to both museums. For more info, call David at (850) 294-9491.

Emerald Coast Car Show

Held at the Ft. Walton Beach High School, 400 Hollywood Blvd SW, this open-to-all show offers three awards each in more than 50 classes, plus specialty awards, cash drawing for pre-registered entrants, dyno testing, food and beverage available, and more. Old Drag Racers Reunion

Held at the City Marina, this year's show will feature the 40th anniversary of American 1968 muscle cars. Classes to be judged will also include show cars, street rods, muscle cars from eras other than 1968, and race cars. Monetary awards and trophies will be given in all these classes. Show car judging will be done by local judges from one of the major Panama City Car Clubs. Judging for the Muscle Cars and Race Cars will be done by a group of former racers headed up by The Mayor Jerrie Deason. The Cackle Fest and Barret-Jackson method will again be used in judging the Muscle Cars and Race Cars. This popular feature of the ODRR Car Show was a BIG HIT last year in that it not only allow spectators to see these cars individually in front of the monument but to hear them rev up the "BIG BAD" motors.
