This WAS NOT a judged, trophied show. Awards were given to our Favorite Ten; the ten vehicles we would like to have in our driveway at the end of the day, and we told the participants why we selected them. In addition to the acrylic award itself, the Favorite Ten also received a special goody bag, filled with great products from the show sponsors. Here's those ten in alphabetical order:
- 1937 Ford Woody, owned by Mike Cavallaro
- 1951 Studebaker, owned by Yuan and Claudette Cotè
- 1971 Plymouth GTX, owned by Wayne Darby
- 1971 Chevelle SS 454, owned by George DeAngelis
- 1957 Dodge Sweepside Truck, owned by Curtis Dorman
- 1973 Mercury Cougar, owned by Rowan Jones
- 2005 Ford Mustang GT, owned by Scott Kilpatrick
- 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury, owned by Richard Koch
- 1946 Mercury Convertible, owned by Rich and Linda Martin
- 1954 Mercury Pick Up Truck, owned by Roy Pearley
Senator Bill Posey, who was responsible for passing the recent Street Rod and Classic Car legislation, presented the Senator Bill Posey's Choice Award to the 1966 Chevelle owned by Charlie Fontaino. As part of the award, Charlie also received a custom-made vehicle story board from CarArtSigns.com, valued at nearly $300.
Sascha Chhabra, manager of the Ramada Inn, presented the Ramada Inn Manager's Choice Award to the 1949 Mercury owned by John Crosby.
The Club Participation Award was presented to the Sunshine State Cougar Club, with sixteen vehicles in attendance. The SSCC also received $50 cash, and each club member received a bottle of Auto Detailer from Meguiar's Car Care Products.
The Longest Distance Driven Award was presented to Jason Horadam, who drove 270 miles on the two-laner's from Naples, Florida.
